Mounting Power Supply To Base

The base plate of the amplifier was made from a disguarded piece of shelving cut to size, which once was a desk top in the shack. The shelving had already been stain, so it look pretty good to me. As you will see in the photos to follow the transformer, rectifier and filter capacitor board are mounted in place. Filament choke was wound on a 7" x 1/2 OD ferrite rod with # 14 gauge house wiring using the white and black wire. Then wrap with shrink tubing and mounted in place. The plate choke was purchase brand new off of ebay and was the same one call for in the schematic. Tube socket mounted. To the right of the tube socket is the bias supply circuit which measure 19v. A fuse was added which is also mounted on the rear plate along with two so239 connectors and RCA connector for keying relay.
